Now, it seems, a computer has been created that can tell you if and when you are going to meet your maker.

It sounds the stuff of sic-fi nightmares, but the computer is actually aiding medics in Boston, USA, to save people's lives.

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center has started using AI technology to assist doctors in its emergency department.

Patients there are linked up to a central “super computer” which analyses them and takes details about their condition and health.
