Robber shoots victim for bag of potato chips (VIDEO)

Police say a man was shot and robbed of a bag of potato chips while walking down a Detroit street this week.
The man said the suspect approached him and demanded he hand over the bag of chips, but the victim refused. The suspect then shot the man in the groin, grabbed the bag of chips and ran away.
The victim was transported to the hospital to receive treatment for the wound, which is believed to be non-life threatening.
Meanwhile, people who have read this story are asking themselves, “Did this guy really just get shot over a bag of potato chips?” And unfortunately, the answer is yes.
