Canines are falling ill after walking in a location dubbed the “Roswell” of Britain, Rendlesham Forest. This has led to speculation ALIEN visitors could be the cause of the sickness…. or could there be another reason?

Rendlesham Forest is famous for a spate of UFO sightings that date back to 1980. In late December 1980, there were a series of reported sightings of unexplained lights near Rendlesham Forest, Suffolk, England, which have become linked with claims of UFO landings.

The events occurred just outside RAF Woodbridge, which was used at the time by the U.S. Air Force. USAF personnel including deputy base commander Lieutenant Colonel Charles I. Halt claimed to see things they described as a UFO sighting.

Now there are reports of dogs becoming ill when in the same area. I find this interesting because at the time, the airmen involved reported being ill, and one even got a pay out from the US Veterans Assosiation for the damage he sustained during the event.

This sounds like real X-Files stuff…. and it is!

Heres the thing though….

Many of the UFO sightings from that period occurred in and around nuclear facilities, and it eventually came out that RAF Woodbridge, home to the US Airforce at the time, was infact, secretly storing nuclear weapons on the base. Rememer, 1980, the cold war is raging.

It could well be that airman John Burroughs, who saw the UFO on the night of Boxing Day 1980, was exposed to radiation from nuclear weapons as opposed to the alien craft that reportedly landed not once, but twice, in Rendlesham Forest. Nice way to deflect attention from the nuclear weapons being illegally stored at the base at the time.

All just food for thought, and you know me by now, being the love-child of Moulder n Skully, I would prefer to believe it was our space brothers and sisters!

Heres what the main stream had to say ….

Dog walkers have reported their beloved pets becoming ill after being walked in Rendlesham Forest, Suffolk, the scene of a mysterious mass UFO hotspot in 1980 where flying saucers are still reportedly seen.

US military personal based at RAF Woodbridge, next to the forest, reported a series of unexplained lights and even a UFO landing in the forest over the Christmas period.

Bizarre UFOs were also seen by residents of the village and the unexplained case remains one of the UK’s most perplexing with the forest regularly visited by alien hunters.

It is not the first time the UFO mystery at Rendlesham has been linked to unexplained sickness.

The servicemen who “saw the craft land” have since received a payout after being “affected by radiation”.

Now there have reportedly been numerous cases of dogs getting sick after being walked along what is now known as the UFO trail
