The IRS is at it again. A new set of proposed regulations would have non-profit charitable organizations submit the social security numbers of donors to the IRS each year. While the initial proposal gives the non-profit the option to submit the SSNs, we believe it will only be a matter of time before it is mandatory.
Right now there is a public comment period on the proposed regulations. We need to flood the regulatory agency with as many comments as we can in opposition to these new regulations.
 The deadline is December 16, 2015, so please share with any of your friends and family who think the IRS is out of control.
Remember, Tea Party groups (including Tea Party Patriots), conservative organizations, and individuals were systematically targeted by the IRS for having different beliefs than the current administration.
What do you think will happen if the IRS can track donors to charitable organizations by SSNs? Given the scrutiny we have endured, we don’t want to find out! On top of that, this is a major security and privacy issue. Do you want the charities that you give to, that often run on shoe-string budgets, to be responsible for safeguarding your SSN? These risks are just too high!
Please leave a comment today and share with all of your friends on social media and encourage them to do the same. Proposed regulations like this have been defeated in the past, but it’s going to take a huge number of public comments to stop this latest IRS power grab!
