C-Span Caller Asks Rep. Dave Brat if He Can Sh*t in the Congressman’s Mouth
The moment he realized what he was just asked.
C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal” has become notorious for its lovely array of call-in pranks, so in that respect, this video isn’t all that surprising.
However, with Congress’ abysmally low, in-the-toilet approval rating of just nine percent, it’s kind of surprising Congresspeople even go on the C-SPAN show at all, but then when they do they somehow still manage to get surprised when callers abuse them on a show where callers love to abuse people.
Below Rep. Dave Brat, a Republican from Virginia, takes a call from “Dave,” a viewer from Salt Lake City, Utah. Dave says his first question is about spending.
His second question is if he can sh*t in Brat’s mouth.

Dave was abruptly cut off by host John McArdle, who has got to be used to this by now and has no doubt practiced the useful skill of internal laughter at length in his spare time.
McArdle then responds with, “We don’t take that kind of language here on the ‘Washington Journal’… even though he just did.
