Undercard debate begins at 4:00 pm (AZ time)
The fifth GOP Presidential debate — the last of 2015 — will be held in Las Vegas at the Venetian Hotel & Casino tonight, Tuesday, December 15.
The prime time debate begins at 6:30 pm AZ Time, (8:30 pm ET). This top-tier event features nine candidates: Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, John Kasich and Rand Paul. Chris Christy, who has seen a recent resurgence, is back on the prime time lineup after previously being dropped to second tier.
Qualifying candidates were required to meet one of three criteria in polls conducted between October 29 and December 13 that are recognized by CNN: an average of at least 3.5 percent nationally or at least 4 percent in Iowa or New Hampshire, the first states with contests toward the Republican nomination.
Relegated to second stage this time around are Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum, Lindsey Graham and George Pataki. Their debate will begin earlier at 4:00 pm AZ time (6:00 pm ET)
CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer will moderate. The network’s Dana Bash and Salem Radio Network host Hugh Hewitt will serve as panelists questioning the candidates. CNN has partnered with Facebook to host the event.
The debate will air live on CNN: Cox Channel 36, Dish: Channel 200, DirecTV: Channel 202. CNN also offers a live stream on CNN.com’s homepage and across mobile platforms from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET. All users can watch live CNN TV online and on mobile devices.
Salem Radio Network will air the programming live via their nationwide broadcast radio stations . In Phoenix, listen live at 960 AM KKNT.
