During Tuesday morning’s press conference debuting his plan to take unilateral action to help curb gun violence, the President wiped away tears as he mourned the children.

Introduced by Mark Barden, whose son was one of 20 children killed at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut in 2012, Obama later teared up at the podium as he spoke about the event, saying, “Every time I think about those kids, it gets me mad,” he said.

This led to Fox News host, Andrea Tantaros saying on-air that she would check Obama’s podium for a raw onion and an outpouring of support both for the chief executive and against him on social media with heavy debate over the sincerity of his emotions.
