Cameron Claims 'Russian Aggression' Among Reasons for UK to Stay in EU

Voting to leave the European Union at a referendum on June 23 would be the “gamble of the century,” Cameron wrote in his article in The Telegraph newspaper.

“But think of the things that have threatened us in recent years: the prospect of a nuclear Iran; Russian aggression in Ukraine; the overwhelming impact of the migration crisis; the poison of Islamist extremism and terrorism. European countries have to work together to deal with them, and it is through the EU that Britain has helped drive Europe’s response,” the prime minister wrote.

Earlier this month, Cameron struck a deal with his 27 fellow EU leaders on reforms to be implemented in an effort to keep the United Kingdom in the bloc. The agreement was concluded following European Council talks in Brussels …. http://sputniknews.com
