NASA Claims ISIS Was Created By Climate Change
By: Piper McGowin, The Daily Sheeple |

I bet you wish I was joking. So do I.

A study by NASA and climate scientists published in the Journal of Geophysical Research-Atmospheres concluded that the Middle East is facing the worst drought the area has seen in 900 years and it’s this drought which began in 1998 that has ultimately led to the creation of the Islamic State.

The space agency said of the drought: “The range of how extreme wet or dry periods were is quite broad, but the recent drought in the Levant region stands out as about 50 per cent drier than the driest period in the past 500 years, and 10 to 20 per cent drier than the worst drought of the past 900 years.”

and

Co-author Kevin Anchukaitis, climate scientist at the University of Arizona in Tucson, said: “It’s not necessarily possible to rely on finding better climate conditions in one region than another, so you have the potential for large-scale disruption of food systems as well as potential conflict over water resources.”Yochanan Kushnir, a climate scientist at Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory, who was not involved in the research, added: “This paper shows that the behaviour during this recent drought period is different than what we see in the rest of the record.” (source)

Because it wasn’t the U.S. government and other Western governments funding, training, and arming paid mercenaries to overthrow the Assad regime in a path to Persia, right?

And NASA is the agency that’s supposed to protect us from annihilation by meteor? Riiiight.

This “study” mirrors sentiments made by President Obama, Secretary of State John Kerry, and others in the current administration:

In Paris, for example, [Obama] framed the need for international cooperation on climate issues like this: “And in some ways, it’s [climate change] akin to the problem of terrorism and ISIL.” “In some ways” and “akin” are weasel words that suggest a linkage without really making one.

The Administration has a habit of gauzily tying global warming to rising terrorism. In Paris, Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes argued, “… the instability that we see in parts of Africa and the Middle East… can be magnified by the effects of climate change and extreme drought and extreme disruption.” And in October at the Universal Exposition in Milan, Secretary of State John Kerry said, “Now, I’m not telling you that the crisis in Syria was caused by climate change…. But the devastating drought clearly made a bad situation a lot worse.” (source)

Not only is the “science” supposedly “settled,” but America’s “leaders” and agencies are all basically saying climate change caused ISIS. They’ve been saying it for months now, as if they think repeating a lie long enough actually does make it true.

It was also suggested this drought is the cause for the mass immigration as well, you know, and not U.S. regime change completely wrecking and destroying country after country which refuses to give in to the central banks.

Talk about a win-win for the corrupt empire.

Piper McGowin writes for The Daily Sheeple. There’s a lot of B.S. out there. Someone has to write about it.
