Amid mixed reviews, we’ve seen this new genre on YouTube before, but it really came into its own when the creators produced this parody on Republican presidential candidate Rafael Edward Cruz, commonly known in the media as ‘Ted’.
What is it about Cruz that lends itself to such a hokey spoof? Could it be Cruz’s intentional televangelist theatrical schtick?
