11 Year Old CopBlocker Saves Unsuspecting Motorists From Extortion Tickets (VIDEO)
“Mikey” is an 11 year old who lives in small rural New Hampshire town that has just ONE cop. While the local cop doesn’t post up to harass his neighbors – as much – the out of town cops stop by from time to time in search of a little revenue for the state.
Even though he’s only 11 years old Mikey understands that though many, including the police officers themselves, believe such traffic enforcement keeps their roads safe, the reality is that such victimless crime tickets are nothing more than revenue generation.
Before you watch 11 year old Mikey CopBlock the State Troopers plans to issue hundreds of dollars worth of fines full disclosure; I lived with Mikey and his parents for almost a year when moved to New Hampshire back in 2013.
I’ve seen people twice, or even three times, Mikey’s age be less successful in their CopBlocking. Mikey did a number of things that even seasoned CopBlockers forget, for example, he wasn’t confrontational and stuck to his mission; to end the extortion. He had a camera rolling and friends nearby – yet – I wouldn’t recommend putting the camera down, unless you have two, because if the officer approaches you then you’d be without video of that encounter. Lastly, he kept the camera rolling the entire time. Which was crucial to showing how the officer drove off, came back and then circled the last time before interacting with Mikey. IMO, the officer was stalking him and probably would have had a different reaction had Mikey been older.
I couldn’t be more proud of Mikey and how he handled himself here. Another interesting fact about Mikey is that last month his bike was stolen from his Father’s computer shop. Instead of calling the police and having the neighbor kids terrorized by men with guns looking for a bike. He, with the help of his family, created flyers seeking information or the return of the bike, even offering a cash reward.
While I wasn’t sure if Mikey was ever fully absorbing the messages his parents and were explaining to him at 8 and 9 years old, his actions prove that he was. He’s helping his community by keeping their hard earned dollars in their pockets. He refused to call the police even though he was actually a victim of a crime and took it upon himself to find his stolen property.
These are the exact actions all of us need to follow to better our lives, communities and humanity in general. If an 11 year old can do it so can you.
