Will banning assault trucks stop more violence?
Leftist media outlets reacted to the devastating attack in Nice not by blaming Islam or even terrorists, but by suggesting that an inanimate object – the truck – was responsible for the carnage.
Instead of pointing the finger at Islamists, CNN, CBC and the New York Times all published headlines that served to hide the true nature of the attack.
CBC reported, “Children feared killed in Nice as truck attacks family event”. Presumably, the truck was somehow able to manifest artificial intelligence and plough itself through dozens of victims.
Not to be outdone, CNN reported “Truck rams crowd; 84 dead in Nice,” again providing a convenient way of avoiding any mention of the ideology that inspired the driver.
The New York Times went with “Truck attack on French crowd; Scores die,” again pinning the blame on the vehicle rather than the Islamist inside it.
Given that the truck alone, and not the ideology that radicalized the terrorist who used one as a weapon, is to blame for the massacre in Nice, the solution to stop further violence is simple; Ban deadly assault trucks.

Admit to Him that you are a sinner in need of forgiveness, that you are truly sorry for your sins. Acknowledge that He died for your sins, rose from the dead and lives forevermore. Invite Him into your life and to help you to turn from sin. Rejoice! You just became a Christian! Now trust in Him and get to know Him through the Bible which tells us everything we need to know and through prayer/talking to Him. He eagerly desires relationship with you.
whenever some crazy person goes insane and starts shooting people, the liberal MSM and dems start insisting that all guns should be banned, confiscated, or licensed out of existence. The logic they are using says that government must ban all civilian guns in order to prevent future massacres. They say that guns kill people, so guns must be banned.
okay, let’s apply that same logic to work on the Nice terrorist tragedy. That train of thought says that a madman did not kill all those people, a truck did. Therefore, all trucks must be confiscated, banned, and/or licensed out of existence. No civilian should be trusted with a truck, since trucks kill people. Only the police and military should be trusted with trucks. (This is Liberal anti-gun logic evenly applied to the tragedy situation).
Does anyone but me see how flawed the MSM democrat liberal logic is in this matter?
I forgot to propose another solution: BAN INSANE PEOPLE FROM OWNING GUNS
Better yet, put the criminally insane who are prone to violence in institutions. Keep them there until the meds and therapy given them makes them safe for release.
Assault trucks ARE banned to everyone by default.
Only VERY qualified exceptions allowed.
