Leave it to the left-wing media to label Rev. Franklin Graham “controversial.” Graham, the son of renown preacher Rev. Billy Graham, is among several religious leaders slated to give  readings and benedictions at President-elect Donald Trump’s Jan. 20, 2017 inauguration. Franklin Graham previously gave the invocation for George W. Bush.

An early Trump supporter, Graham endorsed his candidacy in 2011. Since the election, Graham has appeared at many of Trump’s national “Thank You” rallies.

“Many thought the Trump/Pence ticket didn’t have a chance. None of them understand the God-factor,” Evangelist Franklin Graham told the crowd in Mobile, Alabama.

“I don’t have any scientific information. I don’t have a stack of emails to read to you. But I have an opinion. I believe it was God. God showed up. He answered the prayers of hundreds of thousands of people across this land who had been praying for this country,” the Washington Examiner reports.

Franklin Graham is no longer a Republican, having left the GOP last year due to his disapproval of Congressional Republicans joining Democrats on the passage of the massive 2,000 page, $1.8 trillion omnibus tax and spending bill that continues to fund abortion provider Planned Parenthood. The bill was praised by House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate President Mitch McConnell and quickly signed by Obama, who met little resistance. Planned Parenthood’s officials were caught on tape haggling over the price in the sale of fetal body parts. One abortionist laughingly stated she needed enough to buy herself a Lamborghini sports car.

Joining Rev. Franklin Graham at Trump’s presidential inauguration ceremonies will be other religious leaders, who are named in this Press Release from the Presidential Inaugural Committee.
