New Taurus ‘Spectrum’ available in favorite flavors

Taurus USA introduced the Spectrum — a .380-caliber pistol available in dozens of color combinations — at SHOT Show this year in Las Vegas.
Company reps told Guns.com the new concealed carry pistol features over-molded, soft-touch material in the both the slide and grip for positive traction. Brand new, the gun comes with two magazines: a six-round, and a seven-round extended mag with a pinky grip.
The tiny handgun operates with a double-action striker system and a wide-faced trigger. Built into the side of the frame is a lock that when turned allows the user to pull off the slide without pulling the tigger.

At the booth, interested patrons could play around with a tablet to pair dozens of color combinations, changing colors for the grip, frame and slide.
The Taurus Spectrum pistol — designed and made in the U.S. — retails for $305.
