I clicked on AlterNet, went to the original article, and read it.
To me the original article was worth the read.
It gives insight to what is being told to those who oppose the Donald Trump Presidency.
First things first, America, this country we live in, is not, nor has it ever been, a goddamned democracy. Figures a “scholar”, would have no clue as to what type of society, of which, he is supposed to be an active member. Just as clueless as to what kind of governance he lives under, which happens to be a Constitutional Republic, founded on Democratic principles, but, in no way shape or form, is this a democracy. If you are not absolutely clear on the subject, and the differences between the two, fight ignorance, especially your own, and, go look it up, and, empower yourself…
