Boots on the Border Act is just that

(Before It's News)

Monday slipped by so quickly, we forgot to recognize “National Napping Day.” What better way to commemorate the occasion, albeit a tad late, than with the contorted political dreams of the McFlake Duo?

Their 2013 amnesty promoting Gang of Eight scheme failed. That was the one where John McCain and Jeff Flake colluded with a couple of other RINOs and four committed liberals, who were all to happy to have such useful co-conspirators promoting their vision of a permanently inflated Democrat voter base.

McCain and Flake’s  latest bit of trickery, still lacking a bill number, is known asBoots on the “Border Act of 2017.” It even comes with its own glossary on Page 6, in the event English isn’t your primary language.

It’s an “Act,” to be sure. The only reason Arizona’s dysfunctional senate duo needs “boots on the border” is to avoid stepping in the BS they spread around about “border security” each election cycle when they fear their own job security is threatened.  Since Jeff Flake and his mentor John McCain refused to endorse the Republican presidential nominee and flatly stated they would not vote for Donald Trump against Hillary Clinton, they are now scurrying to repair their self inflicted damage.

Who can forget Jeff Flake throwing the AZ Republic for a loop, when he changed his mind on amnesty?  The newspaper went apoplectic, calling Flake‘s comments “jarring“and saying he was “ no longer a statesman,” but had morphed into a “politician.“ The rest of us knew it was just politics speaking and he’d do a switcheroo right after the ballots were counted.

John McCain strolled the border with Pima County Sheriff Paul Babeu in 2010, and called for completing the “danged fence.” That was also a pre-election hoax.

Then there was Mr. Comprehensive Immigration Reform himself, then-Sen. Jon Kyl magically transforming into a border security hawk, just preceding the 2006 election. Once elected, it was back to funny business as usual.

National Napping Day is a reminder that we better not be caught napping as Jeff Flake and  his deep-pocketed lobbyist PACs begin their assault on reality. Ads are already running telling us to call Jeff Flake’s office and thank him for his commitment. He refuses to hold face to face town hall meetings with constituents, opting for sanitized telephone meetings with call screeners instead. We’ve witnessed Arizona senators and their “Act” long enough. The opportunity to act will be in our hands in 2018. We’ve been skunked by political frauds long enough. Help elect conservative Dr. Kelli Ward.
