What we do with our first fruits will determine what God does with the harvest in our life. If we ignore our first fruit, God will ignore our harvest. God will not meet our needs merely according to our needs. He will meet our needs according to His Word. Bring something!
2 Corinthians 9:6-15 –
6 Now this I say, he who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly; and he who sows bountifully shall also reap bountifully. 7 Let each one do just as he has purposed in his heart; not grudgingly or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed; 9 as it is written,
“HE SCATTERED ABROAD, HE GAVE TO THE POOR,
                HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ABIDES FOREVER.”
10 Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness; 11 you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God. 12 For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints [believers], but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to God.  13 Because of the proof given by this ministry they will glorify God for your obedience to your confession of the gospel of Christ [Messiah], and for the liberality of your contribution to them and to all, 14 while they also, by prayer on your behalf, yearn for you because of the surpassing grace of God in you. 15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!   Remember the principle: The Lord is the Lord of the harvest.
Deuteronomy 16:16-17 –
16 “Three times in a year all your males shall appear before the Lord your God in the place which He chooses, at the Feast of Unleavened Bread and at the Feast of Weeks [Pentecost] and at the Feast of Booths [Feast of Tabernacles], and they shall not appear before the Lord empty-handed. 17 “Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God which He has given you.”
The Lord specifically says that we need to have something in our hands to present before the Lord in order for His purposes to take root and blossom in our lives.
God is not asking us to bring something we don’t have. It is about what we give, relative to what God has given us. Grateful heart and more. What can we possibly give to God that He would want? First and foremost we offer Him gratitude for our salvation. A heart of gratefulness and thanksgiving is our first offering of sacrifice.
Romans 15: 26-27 –
26 For Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the saints [believers] in Jerusalem. 27 Yes, they were pleased to do so, and they are indebted to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual things, they are indebted to minister to them also in material things.
This is the Heart of the Father in Heaven towards them, and with our financial support and prayers we can represent His Heart to them saying “Thank you Israel for giving us the Messiah” and now “We give His Love in a practical way back to you”.
The Feast of First Fruits Points To Messiah Yeshua’s Resurrection  The prophetic picture of the Feast of First Fruits (Yom HaBikkurim) points to Messiah Yeshua as the First Fruits of the resurrection
1 Corinthians 15:20-24 –
20 But now Christ [Messiah] has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep.  21 For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead.  22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ [Messiah] all shall be made alive.  23 But each in his own order: Christ [Messiah] the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s [Messiah's] at His coming,  24 then comes the end, when He delivers up the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power.
In this we see the promise of the future resurrection of those who have already gone to be with the Lord, who will receive their immortal spiritual bodies at the time of the Catching Up (Rapture), when those who are alive also receive their immortal spiritual bodies (1 Corinthians 15:50-53).
Messiah Yeshua is coming soon. Hallelujah! In the time that remains, let us dedicate ourselves to being workers for the Lord to help bring in the greatest harvest possible. As Messiah Yeshua said: “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest (Luke 10:2).
Give your best first fruits offering and bless Israel
with the Gospel of salvation available
ONLY through the Messiah Yeshua.
Genesis 12:3 -
“I will bless those who bless you…”
