Neil Gorsuch has been confirmed as the 101st Supreme Court justice. The Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals judge was confirmed this morning in a 54-45 vote after Democrats worked tirelessly to stall is confirmation.
Gorsuch is expected to restore a 5-4 conservative majority on the nine-person bench. Once sworn in on Monday, he will join the court and begin to hear cases, in the seat once held by the late Justice Antonin Scalia, who died in February 2016.
