World War 3 Fears Rise As Tensions Increase

I have been covering global geo-politics since 2004 and during this period I’ve only seen the war drums beating the way they are right now a handful of times. We’ve seen this before with Iran, probably 4 or 5 times. We’ve seen it in Syria a couple of times – this is the third if memory serves. And we saw it in Ukraine once in May of 2014.
As it turns out, these previous escalations of tensions turned out to be false-alarms. Doom and gloom never materialized. The sky was not falling.
Posturing. Saber-rattling. A show of force is what they call it.
Perhaps such muscle flexing is what we are dealing with at present. But one of these days it won’t be just a drill and World War 3 staring us straight in the face. There will be no going back.
As I said in yesterday’s article it is my belief that President Trump has been allowed to take up residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue because the globalists have determined that a global economic catastrophe and a third world war are now both inevitable. President Trump, and by association the nationalist / populist sentiments that he represents, have been strategically positioned to take the fall.
So I am not saying that Judgment Day has arrived (I know better). But I am saying there is definitely reason to be concerned.
Syria
This morning Israeli news source Haaretz reports that US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley has stated that the removal of Syrian President Assad is now a U.S. Priority:
Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said in an interview that she sees regime change in Syria as one of the Trump administration’s priorities in the country wracked by civil war.
Defeating Islamic State, pushing Iranian influence out of Syria, and the ouster of Syrian President Bashar Assad are priorities for Washington, Haley said in an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union” which will air in full on Sunday.
“We don’t see a peaceful Syria with Assad in there,” Haley said.
The comments represented a departure from what Haley had said before the United States hit a Syrian air base with 59 Tomahawk missiles on Thursday in retaliation for what it said was a chemical weapons attack by Assad’s forces on Syrian civilians.
What is more, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has joined the chorus of those intimating that Russia was involved in Tuesday’s chemical weapons attack in Syria.
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson assailed Russia for its alleged role in the Syrian gas attack that precipitated President Donald Trump ordering a military strike on Syria. He spoke to reporters soon after the strike Thursday.
“Clearly, Russia has failed in its responsibility to deliver on that commitment,” Tillerson said, referring to a chemical weapons deal made between the U.S. and Russia in 2013. Then he followed with a very serious charge.
“Either Russia has been complicit or Russia has been simply incompetent in its ability to deliver on its end of that agreement,” Tillerson concluded.
I support neither the statements of Ambassador Haley or Secretary Tillerson, I am merely reporting what has been said.
As if these developments were not alarming enough, Mike Cernovich – who broke the story that Susan Rice requested the unmasking of names of Trump transition officials – tweeted the following last evening:

What makes me think this may be for real is that the mainstream media are espousing their support of further action. Establishment Republicans and Democrats alike have applauded President Trump’s action in Syria - this ‘coming together’ is what we saw take place prior to the second Iraq War, I remember it happening. As I write this I just saw a headline on FoxNews stating that President Trump is prepared to take further military action in Syria ‘as necessary’.
But the Middle East is only one theater – war drums can also be heard thumping rhythmically in the vicinity of the South China Sea.
North Korea
Gordon Chan of The Daily Beast (a Clinton rag) told FoxNews Friday to watch and see if North Korea’s Kim Jong-Un goes into hiding after Thursday’s Syria strikes.
Gordon Chang, a Daily Beast columnist and author of “Nuclear Showdown: North Korea Takes On The World,” said in an emailed statement to Fox News Friday that the U.S. strike on the Syrian airfield “tells North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un that he must now heed American military power, something that he probably dismissed before.”
“Kim’s father, Kim Jong Il, disappeared from public view for about six weeks in 2003 at the time of the Iraq war. Kim Jong-Un loves the public spotlight, and it will be telling if he similarly goes into hiding,” the author said.
The implication of course is that Kim Jong-Un could be assassinated in the coming days as part of a decapitation strike in North Korea. This does not appear to be idle speculation as the mainstream media are actually pushing this possibility. General Electric puppet NBC News reported Friday:
The National Security Council has presented President Donald Trump with options to respond to North Korea’s nuclear program — including putting American nukes in South Korea or killing dictator Kim Jong-un, multiple top-ranking intelligence and military officials told NBC News.
Both scenarios are part of an accelerated review of North Korea policy prepared in advance of Trump’s meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping this week. (Emphasis added.)
The story continued to develop on Saturday, as reported by Reuters:
A U.S. Navy strike group will be moving toward the western Pacific Ocean near the Korean peninsula as a show of force, a U.S. official told Reuters on Saturday, as concerns grow about North Korea’s advancing weapons program.
Earlier this month North Korea tested a liquid-fueled Scud missile which only traveled a fraction of its range.
The strike group, called Carl Vinson, includes an aircraft carrier and will make its way from Singapore toward the Korean peninsula, according to the official, who was not authorized to speak to the media and requested anonymity.
In an unexpected development, it appears that China has green-lighted some type of U.S. action in North Korea, if what Secretary Tillerson told CBS is to be taken at face value:
Tillerson told CBS’s Face the Nation, in an interview broadcast on Sunday, that when Donald Trump and Chinese president Xi Jinping met at Mar-a-Lago this week, they “had extensive discussions around the dangerous situation in North Korea”.
“President Xi clearly understands, and I think agrees, that the situation has intensified and has reached a certain level of threat that action has to be taken,” Tillerson said.
Tillerson described a “shared view and no disagreement as to how dangerous the situation has become”.
In view of the regional threat now posed by North Korean missile tests and nuclear ambitions, he said, the Chinese “do not believe the conditions are right today to engage in discussions with the government in Pyongyang”.
“We’re hopeful,” he added, “that we can work together with the Chinese to change the conditions in the minds of the DPRK leadership. And then, at that point, perhaps discussions may be useful.
“But I think there’s a shared view and no disagreement as to how dangerous the situation has become. And I think even China is beginning to recognize that this presents a threat to even to China’s interests as well.”
North Korea has long been regarded as a Chinese proxy state and clearly the ‘hermit kingdom’ was a topic of conversation between President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi during their Thursday and Friday meetings. The pair initially met for dinner at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in West Palm Beach, Florida. It was during this dinner, in fact, that the Syrian missile strikes were taking place. Poltico reports:
After wrapping up a dinner of steak, potatoes, sole fish and gelato, President Donald Trump delivered a message to Chinese President Xi Jinping: The United States was unleashing 59 missiles into a Syrian airbase.
Thursday was a split-screen of polished pageantry in public and frantic moves behind closed doors as the United States unleashed air missiles on Syria and the president strutted about his resort, enjoying the glow of cameras and the prestige of having China’s president to his crown jewel while also making what appeared his most consequential decision as president.
Thus it can be clearly seen that the Syrian missile strikes were intended just as much as a message to China as they were to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. It would be truly remarkable if China and the United States have reached an agreement of some kind regarding the rogue nation North Korea. Whether or not the potential agreement involves military action remains to be seen.
Folks get right with the Lord. Pray up. Stock up on food, water, guns, and gold. If you see a mushroom cloud it will already be too late.
