What’s It All About, Reiki?

Rose De Dan, Wild Reiki and Shamanic Healing LLC, is a mesa carrier in the Peruvian Andean Medicine Tradition, Reiki Master Teacher, animal communicator, author and artist. In practice and in partnership with her companion animals, Rose offers private sessions and ceremonies for humans and animals, and teaches classes and workshops in Reiki and shamanism in Seattle, Washington.

Have you heard about Reiki in the news or from a family member, friend or co-worker?

Reiki is one of several alternative modalities offered in prestigious hospitals across the U.S. for people and in growing numbers of veterinary practices and animal rescue organizations for the benefit of the animals. And, on national television in 2010, Dr. Oz named Reiki his #1 Alternative Medicine Secret, increasing Reiki’s visibility even further.

But what is Reiki? How can it help me with my health issues? Can it help my animal companion, too? How long does it take to learn?

These are just a few of the questions I have been asked during my 17 years as a Reiki practitioner and teacher.

To be able to offer the assistance so many people request, I will be sharing stories, answering your questions about what Reiki is, what it has to offer, and how to find a teacher during a free telecall on February 28, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. PST.
