Several species of turtles have become endangered in Bolivia. To combat this problem, the Bolivian government released thousands of hatchling turtles into the waters of the Amazon River. Literally bucket loads of turtles. I’ve never seen this many turtles at one time before. Hopefully there weren’t any natural predators close by.
