Announcing ABA Contest Prize Winners
In December, we ran a membership drive to close out the year. It was a huge success! Over 1,300 people participated and we are happy to announce that Aaron Cargill and and T. J. Jirasevejinda of New York, NY are the winners of the Leica Trinovid HD 8×42. Thank you to all who joined and renewed memberships in the organization. We reached our highest membership number in 5 years!
In January we launched our year-long membership recruitment contest with a prize box of books from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. Congratulations to Corey Finger of Forest Hills, NY, the winner in this inaugural month. Corey’s recruiting skills earned him these additions to his library, and he’s now on his way to winning one of the amazing year-end prizes! Who’s going to compete with Corey for the trip to Panama or Trinidad and Tobago, or the Zeiss Victory SF?
So January’s prize is awarded, but the ABA 2016 membership contest will feature a new prize each month. For February it is an Eagle Optics Ranger ED 8×42 binocular! You will get one ticket in the drawing for each new member you bring into the organization. A little effort could get you a new binocular!
So what are you waiting for? Tell your friends about the ABA and invite them to join. Make sure they include your e-mail address on the membership form at https://www2.aba.org/bigyear-membership. When they sign up, you’ll be eligible! Does your bird club need a new binocular? Designate a recruiter and hold an ABA recruitment night! That’s a lot of tickets in the drawing.
