Heavy rain storms and strong winds occurred last week hit and harmed the most of the areas of Italy; basically hit the Venice city a lot where water levels rose by 1.4 meters (1.5 yards) above normal level, which send the water from the lagoon into St. Mark’s Square and many narrow alleyways. Still the tourists are enjoying the sites; all of these hurdles are not able to resist the tourists from outing and enjoyment.
On October 27, 2012 tourists were sitting in St. Mark Square, Venice. The seasonal high water level rose 127 cm (50 inches) above the normal level in the canal city. This data was given by monitoring institute of Venice.
There are various pictures which are showing the conditions of Venice city, in some pictures tourists were walking with their luggage in flooded streets, tourists are crossing the streets using wooden walkways. Floods are most prevalent in the city during this part of the year.
High tide waves have flooded Venice which increases the water level due to which tourists and Venetians are forced to use wooden walkways and don high boots and to cross St. Mark’s Square and other areas under water.
