Graphic novelist, Alex Teplish joins Dr. Rita Louise on Just Energy Radio where he discusses his new work “In The Beginning” a graphic novel that delves into the mythology of the Sumerian Culture.
Alex Teplish was born in Odessa, Ukraine, formerly known as the USSR. Having his grandparents survive concentration camps during the Holocaust and his parents struggling to live a decent life, they decided to immigrate to the United States, while Alex was still young. He went on to enjoy an average, American childhood and life growing up in Brooklyn, NY. Since an early age, he has had an inquiring mind and took a great liking and interest in Science and all things related; astronomy, extraterrestrial life, science-fiction, and comic books. There was also another, very inquisitive side of Alex that found interest in art/drawing, history, various religions & cultures, and other ancient stories.
Upon graduating from Stony Brook University, Alex Teplish worked diligently for 15 years to become a leading expert in Web/Mobile Technologies, Graphic design, and Digital Marketing. His work has enabled him to architect applications and campaigns for major corporations such as; FX Networks, Foot Locker, Toyota, About.com, and many others. He has also had a significant role in the ever-developing internet since its inception, including the founding of Brower Based Solutions (BBS), a web/mobile-focused, digital agency. Alex is equally proficient in Graphic Design, and has an extensive client list and coinciding credentials such as Art Director for a cable series, as well as directing a multitude of projects involving digital and print media. His work in Graphic Design has also contributed to his most recent project, a graphic novel, “In The Beginning: The Epic of Anunnaki”.
Alex Teplish also collaborated with a colleague and co-authored the Finance/Investment strategy book, “When Buy Means Sell”, with his chapter concentrating on the history and future of investing. The work was published by McGraw Hill, in September 2003. The experience was another influence for “In The Beginning: The Epic of Anunnaki”, which explores the theories of creation as told in The Book of Genesis, but with an ancient, extraterrestrial influence. After extensive research and collaborative efforts with artists and experts from around the world for an extended number of years; Alex Teplish has surely composed an intriguing and thought-provoking work with, “In The Beginning: The Epic of Anunnaki”.
