They’re both Kings of the South in their own right. From Urban Legends to Battles of the Sexes and Trap Muzik to rumors spreading by Word of Mouf. T.I. and Ludacris, two rappers who were once at adds at the height of their popularity, have since put their differences aside and focused on the music. But with the upcoming Ludaversal (Ludacris) and Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head (T.I.) releases, you can’t help but wonder if some of the controversy will be sparked again. They both have released several tracks to get fans ready for their new CDs. Here’s what I thought about a couple of the tracks….
T.I. featuring Lil Wayne: Ball
There are certain songs that you just know you’ll like within the first few seconds. “Ball” cleverly uses a sample of The Showboys’ “Drag Rap (Triggaman)”. It’s definitely one of T.I.’s best songs in recent years. You just can’t sit still when this song comes on. Ironically, the music video, shot in New Orleans, is horrible. Yep, it does nothing for the song so I won’t even post it. This song will be featured on his upcoming CD, Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head. Check out “Ball” below….what do you think of it?
