  • will the mass emergency txt messaging program be as effective as the emergency broadcast system was on 9/11??
Anyone remember the emergency broadcast system? That was that horrible beeeep that would break into your favorite television program at the worst possible time, all to tell us that this is a TEST, if this were an actual emergency, we would tell you where to tune in for further details!!
Well, after being tested for at least twenty years, the ONE DAY it was actually needed, it was NO WHERE TO BE FOUND!! All the tax money wasted to pay the GOVERNMENT IDIOTS who worked the program were on break or something, for the ENTIRE DAY OF 9/11!
No emergency broadcast ever broke! the news was all over the twin towers but the EBS was MISSING IN ACTION!
I suspect that the emergency text messaging will likely work exactly the same way EXCEPT that some people will be charged for receiving the text! thanks mr obama for those unfortunates that will get to pay to read your bs messages!
Oh and if the EBS was any indication, you will receive a MONTHLY emergency text to tell you nothing happened!!
    Fun huh??
