Huckabee Advocates Strong Response To China Cyber Attack

(Before It's News)

In a recent email to supporters, 2016 Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee discussed an issue he feels must be addressed in order to maintain America’s position as a world leader.

“The Chinese attacked our government and hacked into the lives of 4 million Americans,” he wrote in reference to a widespread data breach discovered last week.

In Huckabee’s opinion, the best response to this attack would be an in-kind retaliation.

“The way you deal with a bully on the playground is to punch them in the face and put them on the ground,” he advised, “because the only thing they respect is power.”

To that end, he said America’s reaction should be to “hack the Chinese government.”

Lamenting the as-yet-unknown repercussions our nation will face as a result of the China hack, Huckabee called on America’s current crop of leaders – specifically Barack Obama – to act on the country’s behalf.

“When you tolerate bad behavior and bullying,” he insisted, “you get more of it. China’s attack against four million Americans is the largest theft of government data in our nation’s history.”

Wondering what it will take “for President Obama to open his eyes,” Huckabee asserted that, should he win the general election next year, he will make the China threat a primary focus.

“As President,” he promised, “I will stand up to China, retaliate with strength, and never apologize for protecting Americans.”

He then bemoaned the current administration’s perceived unwillingness to protect the privacy of Americans and our allies around the world while turning a blind eye toward legitimate threats.

“The fact that this Administration wiretaps our ally, German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s cell phone, but sits back as the Chinese launch a cyber attack on four million Americans is mind-boggling.”

His email alert concluded with a link to a fundraising site through which supporters can voice their support “for our strong stand against China with a donation today.”

Should the U.S. government hack China’s government as a form of retribution? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
