Video: Black Lives Matter Takes SICK Action Outside GOP Debate- Cops Respond In Epic Way
Duty met desecration outside Tuesday night’s Republican presidential debate in Milwaukee, as Milwaukee police showed they could rise to any challenge–and Black Lives Matter protesters showed how low they could go .
“Just look at how beautiful we are standing outside,” said Rep. Gwen Moore, D-Wis., as the evening of protests began. “This is just the beginning… The fight has only begun.”
The fight turned ugly. Before long, black protesters were using the American flag as their target.
Wisconsin State Sen. Lena Taylor posted a photo of a protester standing on an American flag, pointing down at it.
Worse was to come.
Reuters reported that the man standing on the flag began burning another American flag.
“I’m a veteran…you can’t do that, man,” a man in the crowd shouted at the flag burner, who said he was protesting the Justice Department’s decision not to pursue charges in an April 2014 incident in which a Milwaukee police officer shot and killed a mentally disabled black man.
“America is a police state,” he said.
As the crowd argued, Milwaukee police acted.
First, they extinguished the flames, giving rise to a lie spread by protesters that tear gas was being used against the crowd. The Milwaukee Police Department’s Facebook page cited Officers Joel Rossman, Jedidiah Thompson and Jutiki X for recovering the flag and giving it the honor it deserves.
After the flag was recovered, officers conducted a respectful, impromptu ceremony to properly and respectfully fold the flag, ignoring the protesters around them.
Police said the flag would be retained by the department “to be inventoried for possible charges against the protester.”
A video and pictures of the flag ceremony were posted to the Milwaukee Police Department’s Facebook page, which was deluged with support from Americans who praised the police response.
“Thank you to the police who did the right thing. And to the self centered, disrespectful protesters, I hope you realize just how horrible of an act you did. Our flag should always be respected and protected. I hope they press charges,” wrote Angela Miller Hoag.

These reports were false.The flag was taken to be inventoried for possible charges against the protester.Milwaukee police officers later conducted a small, dignified ceremony to properly fold the flag before placing it on inventory.
