(Before It's News)

Everyone likes tilapia. This fish is not expensive and it does not have bones, skin, and that fishy taste. It is also easy to cook. So, do you think there is some down side to this fish?

Well, sadly, the answer to this question is yes. It turned out that tilapia is even more disastrous for your health than some of the notorious meat, including pork and beef.

The tilapia we buy and consume is a cultivated fish and no supermarket or a restaurant has wild tilapia on its menu.

STOP-EATING-TILAPIA-ASAP-BEFORE-IT’S-TOO-LATE

The problem with the tilapia that comes from the stores is that it comes from factory farms, farms where tilapia is fed an unnatural, unhealthy diet that includes soy pellets and GMO corn, instead of the delicious algae and plants it normally eats.

Why can’t you eat farm-raised Tilapia?

The farm-raised tilapia has been proven to cause issues in the body, including joint inflammations, asthma, coronary disease, and other problems.

Moreover, farmed fish has ten times the normal quantities of carcinogenic, or cancer causing agents compared to the wild fish. Tilapia is one of those farmed fish types.

Farmed fish also contains more pesticides, usually used for treating the fish for infections. These pesticides often remain in their bodies after harvesting.

Another issue associated with the farm-raised fish is the high level of Dioxin in them. This substance is lethal, and when you take it into your system, it may remain there up to a decade. Farmed fish contains 11 times more dioxin than wild fish.

Moreover, farm-raised tilapia packs less solid supplements compared to the wild tilapia. It also has lower levels of protein and higher levels of omega 6 unsaturated fats compared to omega 3 ones. The imbalance of omega 3 and omega 6 has adverse impacts on our bodies.

We must say that one of the major ingredients of the ranch fish food is chicken poop. So, what do you think, do you really want that on your menu, because, if you buy tilapia from the store, you basically have that on your plate.
