The hydrogen economy is emerging from excess wind power in Germany. Germany has taken the lead in the international effort to develop the so-called hydrogen economy.

 

85 percent of British power can be via renewables by 2030, says Greenpeace. Britain can produce 85 percent of its power via renewable energy by 2030 provided it undergoes significant changes in energy production and use, according to a new study by Greenpeace.

 

Two Indigenous Solar Engineers Changed Their Village in Chile. Liliana Terán and her cousin Luisa, members of the Atacameño indigenous people, are grassroots solar engineers trained at the Barefoot College in northwest India. By installing solar panels in their northern Chilean village, they have changed their own lives and those of their fellow villagers.
