Jesus Is The Vine And We Are The Branches
Jesus is the vine and we are the branches, as long as we abide in Him we can bring forth much fruit, but if we abide not in Christ we too will be broken off. Christians can not expect to escape from the punishment delivered unto Israel after the flesh, if they also immerse themselves in self righteousness, iniquity and deceit. Israel after the Spirit does not allow the cares of this world, nor the deceitfulness of riches to suffocate the implanted Word of Jesus Christ (John 15:1-6; Gal 6:3-8; 13-16; Math 13:22-23).
There are unfortunately far too many false doctrines being taught today, worse yet is that they are accepted as the truth. Without the Spirit of Discernment, which is something that all true believers in Christ possess, the truth can not be known.
Jesus is the vine and we are the branches, all of the branches of God The Father must be of the true vine, Jesus Christ His son. There is no other branch to be recognized, and the ridiculous teaching that modern day Israel is its own branch is simply ludicrous. The deceivers seek to establish their own righteousness, although in vain. They also seek to draw away disciples after themselves through their vain words, that are destitute of any spiritual wealth. Because of this great idolatry, they indeed will invite the wrath of God on themselves and their followers (Rom 10:3; Eph 5:5-6; Acts 20:30).
There is a common denominator within many of these false teachings; part of the answer to this spiritual depravity, is revealed in the verses below:
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Matt 23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
Titus 1:10-11 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake.
Titus 1:14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
The scribes and Pharisees, not only would not enter the kingdom themselves, but all that followed their wicked doctrines would be dammed as well. This same spiritual phenomenon still exists today. Many still accept these seducing spirits and doctrines of devils; they nor their teachers will enter the kingdom, as it is impossible to do so without the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the vine and we are the branches, do not be fooled. There is no other way to inherit the kingdom, and there is no branch that is not in Christ.
If Jesus Is The Vine And We Are The Branches | Are The 144,000 That Are Sealed Witnesses For Christ?
The Pre-Tribulation Rapture, allows for the theory of the 144,000 that are Sealed to enable present day Israel to come to Christ, even though all Believers are the Israel of God. And the nonsensical notion that some men are still under the Old Testament Law, leads to the outrageous fable, declaring Israel after the flesh, somehow has a unique and separate destiny apart from the body of Christ. Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. This represents new growth through the Life Giving Vine which is Christ Jesus. Without Him we can do nothing. There is no special destiny for those who believe in judaism, or any other religion, as all religion is idolatry and devoid of the truth. There is One God, one way and one truth unto Life.
Also there is a story book tale, regarding another temple that will be built in Jerusalem, even though the Word clearly states that the Holy City, is without a temple during the entire tribulation period (Rev11:2-8). It is the elect are the temple of Christ, and He now resides in us (1 Cor 3:16-17; 6:19; 2 Cor 6:16; Rev 21:22).
Then we have a seven year covenant that is to be made between Israel and the Anti-Christ, even though scripture clearly teaches us that the Great Tribulation is three and a half years in duration, and the covenant is between Christ and His people.
It is also taught that the ones left behind are Israel after the flesh, or those who claim to be of the tribe of Judah, and it is the Christians who are taken to Heaven.

The ones taken were destroyed, and the ones left behind were saved. Jesus is the vine and we are the branches, and when Christ does return, those that are worthy will be caught up, or raptured to be changed and reign with Him on earth (Luke 17:20-37; Rev 5:10).
If Jesus is the vine and we are the branches, we had better make sure we truly abide in Him. Christ spared not the natural branches, and that which is destroyed can not be grafted back in to the vine. Below are three verses that all utilize the same two descriptive words, and they are, spared not; together these words represent total destruction.
God spared not the natural branches, be ye not also in unbelief lest you also be not spared (Romans 11:21).
God spared not the angels that sinned, but they are now bound, and await a final judgment (2 Peter 2:4).
God spared not the life that He created, save eight souls and those creatures residing in the ark, destroying the ungodly (2 Pet 2:5).
Romans 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
God’s people are the ones that faithfully follow Him, those that reject the Son also reject the Father.
Romans 11:5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
The remnant represented the people that would be persecuted by the same wicked spiritual rebellion that possessed those that persecuted Christ; anyone that hates the Son also hates the Father, and has no covering for their sin. None of these evildoers will be spared destruction, as they all hated Christ without a reason (Psalm 69:4; John 15:19-25). Jesus is the vine and we are the branches, however the Christian church teaches that Israel of the flesh that for the most part despises Christ, is still a branch of the Lord’s planting.
The remnant at the end of this age, are those who keep the commandments of Christ and the word of His testimony; they worship God in the Spirit and rejoice in Christ (Rev 12:17; Phl 3:3).
Romans 11:20-22 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural (or original) branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Paul makes a clear distinction regarding the people that belong to God; say not therefore to those that are put away that God has put away His people. God did not put away those that He knew from the beginning that were predetermined to obtain an inheritance with His Son (Rom 11:2, 5, 7; Rom 8:29; Eph 1:11). Because Jesus is the vine and we are the branches, we can be called the children of God, His chosen and the Elect, if we abide in Him. As Branches we must produce good fruit or we also will be cut off, and Christ will say at that day of judgment, depart from Me you workers of iniquity.
Israel after the flesh for the most part did not obtain the knowledge of the Kingdom even though the Kingdom of God came to them. Those that were of the sect of the Pharisees and Sadducees were a rebellious people that were contrary to all men, and thought of themselves as holier than all others (Isa 65:2-7; 1 Thes 2:14-16).
Obviously these were not His people as they wanted the inheritance that Christ would offer to all mankind, for themselves. They murdered the Messiah fearful that all would believe on Him because of His miracles and words of truth. They were only concerned with the Romans taking away their position and power over the people; truly they were of their father the devil (Math 21:33-41; John 11:47-53; John 8:38-44). If Jesus is the vine and we are the branches, then what right do those that have always despised Him have to be called a Branch of God.
Israel after the spirit, the remnant according to the election of grace, did obtain the knowledge of the truth in Christ Jesus.

If one can understand the simple message of truth, that Jesus is the vine and we are the branches, the message in Romans chapter 11 is really not that difficult to understand.
God allowed those that He originally appeared too, to make a choice; some rejected Him and as a result of their fall the Lord’s punishment was quite severe. They were destroyed for their unbelief, and were never considered to be His people.
Those that accepted Him were treated with goodness, and the promise of inheritance; to all that received Him they were given the power to become the sons of God. This promise was given to all peoples (John 1:12; Rom 8:14; 1 John 23:1-2).
Jesus is the vine and we are the branches, and every branch that does not bear fruit is taken away. Just like it was when Christ came to those who claimed to be of the house of Judah, so too will it be at the end of this age (John 15:1-20).
Anyone that does not confess that Christ has come in the flesh has the spirit of antichrist. Anyone that claims to be of the tribe of Judah, but does not know Christ, is of one of two groups of people. They are either of the synagogue of Satan, or attempting to live according to the old law that died with Christ. Christ is the Lion of the tribe of Judah; this tribe is a spiritual people. they are faithful believers who accepted His new covenant unto life; they are part of the body of Christ that are redeemed from sin and death (1 John 4:3; Rev 2:9, 3:9; Jer 23:6; Heb 7:14; Rev 5:5, 7:5).
Jesus is the vine and we are the branchesSo then, the statement that Jesus is the vine and we are the branches, is also a new definition of the True Israel of God. Physical Israel does not represent a separate branch with a special or unique redemption plan; this notion is nowhere to be found in scripture. Jerusalem will not be considered Holy until Christ returns to destroy all that offend at the battle of Armageddon. After this battle He will restore the land and will bring the Elect to Jerusalem to reign with Him for 1000 years.
Isaiah 11:11-13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
The promises are Spiritual and were not made to Abraham and his seed as of many, but to Jesus Christ, who sealed us with His Holy Spirit of promise (Gal 3:16).
The promise to be called sons of God was not given to the tribe of Judah or to Israel through the Old Testament law (Rom 4:13-16).
It is through Christ alone can men receive the promise of eternal life, as Jesus is the vine and we are the branches of His planting (Eph 1:13; 4:30).
Mathew speaks of the generations beginning with Abraham and ending with Jesus Christ; after the Cross, Israel and all tribes including Judah, are one in Christ; they also represent all of the faithful believers in Christ.
Christ is our master and we all are brethren; we are one body in Christ.
There is neither Judean nor Greek, male or female, but one in Christ.
They are not all Israel which are in Israel, only the redeemed are the children of the promise are counted as the seed.
Through Christ all are joined into the commonwealth of Spiritual Israel, and can partake in the covenants of promise, because Jesus is the vine and we are the branches that will inherit everlasting life through Him.
All who are transformed by the renewing of their minds in Christ are a new creation and are the Israel of God.
Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, because He has visited and delivered his people from the penalty of sin. (Gal 3:16; Math 23:8; Rom 12:5; 1 Cor 8:6; 12:2; Gal 3:28; Rom 9:6-8; Eph 2:12; Gal 6:16; Luke 1:68).
Gal 3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. You can only bear fruit if you abide in Him; if you do not produce fruit or abide in Him you are cast into the fire (John 15:1-15).
