The Extent of God's Grace
If one needs proof of the Grace of God, one need not look any further than my esteemed president, Donald J. Trump. Really. Some are questioning whether he is up to the task of being president of the US. In fact, I am one of those people. When his concern is more about TV ratings for his TV show, The Apprentice, and then prays publicly for the ratings and for Arnold Schwarzenegger, the new host of his show, at a public prayer breakfast led by every president of the US for the past 60 years, it seems to me that he either thinks he has some kind of special connection with God or that he is God himself. Further, he has decided to put the US at risk by claiming he can go to war with China, Mexico, and Iran. Then I heard the first thing this morning that he single-handedly decided to piss off one of the US's staunchest allies by saying that Obama made a bad deal with them. And this is only the second week of his presidency. The press here in the US is just waiting to see what he will do next. He is undoing years of work by the Environmental Protection Agency, which protects US waters from pollution by coal mining. But it's not him, but a Congress that is enabling him to make the US look like a third world country to our allies AND our enemies. So, if you need proof of the extent of God's Grace you really don't have to look any fuhrer than Donald J. Trump and his Republican cronies in Congress.
Murder is committed by those who pollute the waters to make them undrinkable and who pollute the air to make it unbreatheable. BUT, and here is my point in all this, NONE of these lawmakers ARE responsible for having taken Human Life. They only pass the laws and declare warfare. Murder is committed by those who act in such a way that Human Life is endangered or is taken. We often want to blame those who are the generals and leaders of a government, when in reality it is those who follow orders that are always responsible. So, regardless of how crazy it seems this president is or no matter what laws Congress passes and even declares the wars, it is ultimately those who do the taking of Human Life that are guilty. Remember this. It's the soldier who pulls the trigger or drops the bombs. It's the polluter who murders by polluting drinking water and causes death to those who drink it. When there is a death of ANY kind someone is responsible if not ultimately God Himself. Some can blame God for polluting drinking water, but I know for a fact, God will NOT accept that kind of blame. One can blame God for starting wars, but I promise you that death by warfare is NOT something God does. We can even blame Satan, but the fact is, Satan just loves it when PEOPLE do his bidding.
The extent of God's Grace isn't affected by laws or by decrees. When Human Life is taken, SOMEONE is responsible, if NOT an act of God. Only God can cause illnesses by viruses and bacterium, in addition to heart attacks and other acts He commits. It's people who pollute and it's people who are responsible for pulling triggers and dropping bombs. It's people who ultimately take Human Life otherwise. Laws can allow for these things, but the fact is, laws only allow what laws allow. People do the bidding of Satan both in the context of laws and outside the context of laws.
