Shallow earthquake meassuring M6.0 struck off Solomon Islands on September 27, 2012 at 23:53:49 UTC. Epicenter was located 111 km (68 miles) SE of Gizo, Solomon Islands (8.825°S, 157.557°E) at depth of 10 km (6.2 miles) according to USGS and 33 km (20.5 miles) according to EMSC.

There were no tsunami warning issued.
