What Is Really Bringing Us Down ???

I know that it has been a little while since I have spoken in interviews or written any articles.
Unfortunately, I got stuck in a rut of anger and depression following the election. I am sure that many of you feel the same way I do, but this time it really got to me. I felt like I was just wasting my time preaching to the proverbial choir. For the second time in 13 months, I also dogged another bullet with Hurricane Sandy, as the waters of Long Island Sound made it about 100 yards from my back door. I was one lucky SOB. Never for a minute did I have to wonder if I would need anything if the worst did happen. Many of you who were in the crosshairs of the event now understand why we do what we do. Some people call us crazy. I may be crazy, but I was never cold, hungry, defenseless or in need of anything necessary for basic survival. How many of our critics could say the same?
Since then, I can tell you that as a firearms industry executive, I have seen an explosive burst in sales for firearms and ammunition. Most of this has been distributors and dealers stocking up to make sure they have something on their shelves to sell, but retail demand has also been fairly steady. Will it last? I bet it does. Wait till the first Obama administration hint of gun control legislation hits the “lamestream” media. If you need anything in that department, get it now if you can afford to.
So to say things have been a little hectic for me is about right. Well then, why am I writing to you? I guess you can say that I was inspired a little. I have a dear friend, who is a police officer. He is a great American, a great family man, and truly an outstanding human being. My friend was a true believer in what made our country great, and he was a very positive person and supported the democratic process. He refused to believe that we were that far gone,…until now. To say he woke up big-time was an understatement.
My friend and I recently sat down for dinner with a few other close friends, who also happen to be senior executives in the firearms industry. After speaking with him for about half an hour, I needed to check my head for a minute. I could not believe that he had come around to swallowing the truth about where we are, and where we are going. I was so happy that we were finally living in the same reality. Both I and another mutual friend had been preaching to this guy since 2008 about how much trouble we were in. Fortunately my friend finally saw the light, and has started preparations to ensure the safety of his family.
I figured if my friend can wake up, then it’s not too late for some other good people to do the same. At the same time, I also feel that I no longer have any respect or sympathy for my countrymen who have ensured our demise by guaranteeing another 4 more years of the garbage we just lived through. They wanted it, and now they are going to get it. I don’t want to hear anything from any of them when the feces hits the fan. Believe me; it’s not that I thought the other choice was even that much better, but we all knew what we had for the last 4 years.
I have had my eyes opened to the fact that our greatest enemy is NOT the political hacks that erode our freedoms, liberties, and way of life. Our enemy is NOT the corrupt bankers that cheat us and rob us of our wealth. These destructive people and forces have been around for a long time, BUT… they are NOT our biggest threat. Our greatest enemy is the American Citizen Sheep, which are the masses of ignorant, arrogant and complacent fools which allow the current corrupt system to continue. Yes, the biggest threat to hard working, freedom loving, honest citizens like you and I are people like the “Obama Phone Lady”. The brand of stupidity so commonly exhibited by American Sheep is the true cause of our problems, and this attitude of ignorant arrogance is what is really bringing us down. Let’s assign blame to where it really belongs.
If the majority of the American populace was not asleep as it has been for so long, ask yourself one simple question: How would the “powers that be” have been able to do everything that they have gotten away with up to this point?
It would have been impossible for the corrupt politicians and banksters to do their ill deeds without their greatest accomplices of all….The American Sheep. They are your real enemy. They are the real threat. They are the real “useless eaters”. People like you and I are the ones carrying these people on our backs through the fruits of our labor. These sheep are what truly brings us down as a society, as an economy, and as a nation. The American Sheep is the type of animal that dies because it actually eats itself to death. It is fat, dumb, and entertained, and has become morally and financially as bankrupt as the system it feeds off of. The corrupt scum that runs our country and economy truly deserve these sheep as their loyal subjects.
I have heard people say: “I don’t understand how these people think, and I don’t know why they do what they do.” This holiday season be thankful for the fact that you DON’T understand. Be thankful that you cannot lower yourself to that mentality. Take pride in the fact that you can think for yourself, and that you see things for what they really are.
It is my opinion that the existence of the American Sheep and it’s tolerance of the corrupt political and financial system will be what destroys our nation. Where is the outrage that we see from the citizens of Greece, Spain and Portugal? The only way you will ever see that in the USA is when the American Sheepbegin to starve, and by then it will be too late, and America will be but a memory.
Remember this….In the case of laws concerning taxes, firearms ownership, civil liberties, whatever is important to you as an American…the “Powers that be” can pass any law they want. However, they have to enforce those laws for them to have any meaning. That is where people like you and I come in. Don’t be a sheep. Don’t sit back and wait for someone else to take the initiative. Vote with your dollars, and fight for what you believe in. Even though people like us are not the “majority”, we can still be a serious force to be reckoned with. I don’t have the answers, but I do know that we are getting closer and closer to the time of reckoning.
