Remington College-Columbia Campus Names Audrey Breland as new Director of Education

Columbia, S.C. – (November 30, 2012) – Remington College-Columbia Campus has named Audrey Breland as its new Director of Education.  

 

Ms. Breland’s role will be to direct and coordinate all academic activities at the campus and lead all education efforts.

 

Ms. Breland has worked in education for more than 13 years. She spent the last eight years working at Richland One Middle College in Columbia, where she supervised campus operations and implemented a unique educational program.

 

In addition to her experience as an administrator, Ms. Breland also has several years of experience as a teacher. Her classroom experience includes serving as an adjunct instructor at ITT Technical Institute and a teacher at both Columbia High School and Waterboro High School.  

 

Ms. Breland has earned several degrees – a Master of Education in Educational Administration, a Master of Arts in Teaching, and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies – all from the University of South Carolina.

 

Ms. Breland is a member of the South Carolina Association of School Administrators and Advisory Council Member of the South Carolina Safe and Supportive Schools Initiative.

 

In her spare time, Ms. Breland volunteers with the Girl Scouts, American Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity.

 

Remington College-Columbia Campus is located at 607 Bush River Road in Columbia.
