Congressman continues to earn broad supports for re-election effort
Adding yet another impressive endorsement his list today, Congressman Jon Runyan’s campaign announced that he had earned the support of Teamsters Joint Council 73 for his support of policies that help create jobs for South Jersey families.
In a letter dated July 24, 2012, Council 73 President Alphonse Rispoli, Jr. and PAC Chairman Cliff Nolan said: “Joint Council proudly serves 16 Locals and 55,000 members in NJ and the Metro area; we will be encouraging our membership to your candidacy and participate in your campaign efforts.”
Since May 1st, Runyan has earned endorsements from the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local Union 322, United States Chamber of Commerce, International Association of Heat & Frost Insulators & Allied Workers, International Union of Operating Engineers Local 825, New Jersey Building and Construction Trades Council, International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, NJ Laborers Union, Monmouth-Ocean Building & Construction Trades Council, the New Jersey Policemen’s Benevolent Association and the Recreational Fishing Alliance.
“My focus in Congress is working across party lines to grow the economy and create jobs for my constituents, while restoring much-needed fiscal responsibility to Washington,” said Rep. Runyan. “I am proud to accept the endorsement of Teamsters Joint Council 73 and look forward to working with their membership to get our economy moving in the right direction again.”
