On the road to victory
‘Here’ is Kettering University in Flint town car – Michael Moore’s hometown and one of the State of Michigan’s hardest hit during the financial crisis.
And it is also one of the Republican frontrunner Mitt Romney’s last stop before Michigan’s primary election Tuesday.
According to recent opinion polls leads Romney slightly above its more traditionally conservative opponent Rick Santorum, who come to Flint later that afternoon. And the winner of the primary election is an important step closer to being the Republican candidate against official when Barack Obama’s job is at stake in the presidential election 6th November.
And Brenda and Ken have no doubt about who the man should be.
- We are 100 percent against Obama’s policies. And we know that we belong to a minority. A few weeks ago we attended actually an anti-Obama demonstration. Many thought we had gone wrong. And we ended up in several national media, says Ken Jordan and smiles slightly at the memory. But there is really behind the smile.
On the way towards the abyss
Like Mitt Romney believes Ken and Brenda Jordan namely that the U.S. is heading towards the abyss.
- It is indeed time for a change of government. Obama has done his best to ruin our country. And we will be in the front row when Mitt Romney takes his place in the White House.
And while we’re talking begins Mitt Romney’s introductory music to play.
In honor of the occasion, the Republican billionaire chosen group KISS ”70s hit “Detroit Rock City’ to pave the way (Detroit is the state’s largest city). And Ken and Brenda are among the first to stand up and deliver a resounding applause.
Primary Election
Before the presidential election 6 November, the Republicans choose a candidate who must stand against Barack Obama.
Tuesday 6 March, the so-called ‘Super Tuesday’, it is extremely important that each candidate is doing well. Super Tuesday is in fact the day when most U.S. states hold primary elections. The candidate who gets the most votes, is thus the closest to winning the primary election, thus becoming the presidential candidate of the party.
