Underscores Joe Donnelly's habitual pattern of his words not matching his record
Indianapolis, IN (October 17, 2012) — The Mourdock campaign will begin airing today its newest ad “Say Anything” on statewide TV,which underscores Donnelly's pattern of his campaign rhetoric not matching his voting record.
“Congressman Donnelly calls for fiscal restraint in his ads and in interviews, yet his record is clearly reflective of a Washington liberal who supports budget-busting spending,” explained Mourdock campaign spokesman Christopher Conner. “Furthermore, Donnelly has supported 28 tax hikes to pay for this reckless spending on behalf of the Obama-Pelosi-Reid team.”
In contrast, Richard Mourdock supports balanced budgets, cutting government spending and actually reducing taxes for Hoosiers families, as they have done here in Indiana.
“Make no mistake, a vote for Joe Donnelly is a vote for Harry Reid and more big-government spending. We need to send Senator Coats a partner in Washington who will work for Indiana, not a liberal Congressman who will cancel all of his votes,” stated Mourdock.
