SCF Congratulates Mike Lee
Alexandria, VA – Senate Conservatives Fund (SCF) president Ken Cuccinellimade the following statement after Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) was declared the winner of the race for U.S. Senate in Utah:
“On behalf of our grassroots members in Utah and across the nation, we congratulate Senator Mike Lee on his victory tonight. He was targeted by the GOP establishment, which sought to recruit a primary challenger to defeat him, but conservatives united behind Senator Lee and helped him avoid such a challenge. We are very proud to have helped Senator Lee defeat a big government Republican incumbent in 2010 and now to win re-election in 2016. We look forward to having his principled leadership in the Senate for six more years.”
SCF and its super PAC, Senate Conservatives Action (SCA), invested $561,949 to help Lee win the primary and general elections.
