About a month ago, because of the infernal autoplay feature of Youtube, my three year-old for a few moments inadvertently viewed one of those cartoon representations of an abortion “procedure.” He was sobered by it, to say the least.

He said, “The baby was sleeping and a monster came and tore off his leg.”

Now, usually, we tell our little ones not to be afraid, that there is no such thing as monsters. But I can’t tell Caleb that now. He knows better.

He also said, so innocently, “When the baby wakes up he’ll get his leg back.” I said, “In heaven that is true, Caleb. In heaven that is true.”

America stands convicted by the simple, truthful, clear understanding of a three year-old.

In our country, the monsters continue to be allowed to murder the innocent as they sleep in their mothers’ wombs, every day, by the thousands.

The only thing that will stop them is the abandonment of political compromise by the American church.

That could happen, if we only have the will to make it so.

​Nothing else will suffice.
