(Before It's News)

Over a 200,000 mile vehicle lifetime, to drive a 15 MPG internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle, at $4 per gallon, it will cost over $53,000 for the gasoline!

For a car that gets 25 MPG, the gasoline will cost $32,000 over its vehicle lifetime.

More than the cost of many new vehicles.

Do the oil companies enjoy this kind of revenue?

By contrast, at 6 cents per kilowatt hour, an electric vehicle (EV) getting average "mileage", will require only about $2,642 in electricity to drive 200,000 miles!

Less than three thousand dollars.
