British Airways to Purchase Biofuel

Dec 24, 2012 – British Airways commits to buying aviation biofuel that will be produced in East London in venture with Solena Fuels. It will buy ~$500 million over ten years. The plant will produce 40,000 metric tons of biofuel annually from 500,000 metric tons of municipal waste. No chance of running out of raw materials with this process.
