M 2.7 weak earthquake hits South Korea today, The Korea Meteorological Administration mentions on its Website.

Earthquake in South Korea today occurred at 3:39 a.m.

According to the South Korea News, the quake’s epicenter was located 42 kilometers off the coast of Geomun Island in Yeosu, South Jeolla Province.

Report by National Emergency management Agency has shown that if an earthquake in South Korea with the magnitude of 7 occurs, it could kill more than 50,000 and injure more than 620,000 people!
