Bentley Hybrid Concept — Luxury Automaker Bentley Unveils First Production PHEV Model
The Bentley Hybrid Concept — Bentley’s first production plug-in hybrid model — was recently teased by the luxury automaker, with a full unveiling scheduled to occur at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition at the end of the month.
While the press release announcing the upcoming unveiling didn’t include a plethora of details, there are a couple of interesting things to note. Perhaps most interesting is the claim that the plug-in hybrid system will provide a power increase of up to 25%, as well as helping to reduce CO2 emissions by up to 70%. That’s a significant increase in power.

As you can see in the images included here, the PHEV appears to be directly based on Bentley’s flagship Mulsanne model. The press release also stated that the Hybrid Concept possesses a range of about 31 miles when operating in the purely electric mode.
