I must charge my book

(Before It's News)

When I woke up and got out of bed I remembered that I must charge my book. Such a thought would have been the stuff of science fiction just a generation ago, but now, by my bedside, I have a slim device, smaller than a paperback, which holds more than a thousand books. Several such devices would hold a library of all that I have read and all that I would wish to read. A shelf of such would hold most of what has been written in the English language. Perhaps that might work – a library of electronic books, discrete, in that from the outside no one would know what was on the inside, and compact, needing nothing but dusting and charging.
