The Gov needs to repeal the European Communities Act 1972 so the UK can leave the EU given that is the legislation which underpins the UK’s EU membership instead of triggering Article 50 which allows the EU to dictate the UK’s leaving terms.
The Great Repeal Bill adopts EU laws when the UK is supposed to be leaving.
