What: Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center, Inc. (ADRC) is presenting the 2nd Annual Riverhead Walk for Alzheimer’s & Clambake. There will be an opening ceremony with Mickey B, Radio Personality, WGBB Radio, as the Master of Ceremonies and live entertainment performed by the USO Liberty Belles. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will follow to signify the start of the Walk with local elected officials and representatives of Long Island Aquarium & Exhibition Center.
The Walk will begin at Milton L. Burns Park and go along the scenic waterfront, ending at the Long Island Aquarium & Exhibition Center. After the Walk, participants who raise $100 or more will enjoy a clambake and buffet lunch and full access to the aquarium.
This year’s fundraising goal is $50,000. Last year, more than 200 people took part in the Riverhead Walk and Clambake, with the fundraising goal of $25,000. Through the efforts of these individuals and teams who took part in this event, they exceeded the goal by raising more than $35,000.

Directions: LIE to Exit 72 (Rte. 25 E) toward Riverhead. Merge onto West Main Street. After 3.3 miles, turn right onto Peconic Avenue. Milton Burns Park is on the right-hand side.
