(Before It's News)

Kate’s two twins, Emily and Jamie, were born three months prematurely. The doctors told the mother and father that Jamie had died. But in desperation, miracles can happen…

After three years of trying to get pregnant, Kate and David Ogg were so happy to find out they were having twin babies. To find out they were having a boy and a girl was just the cream on top.

But Kate went into early labor at 26 weeks. The first-time parents had an uneasy feeling once the babies were born; the dynamics of the room had changed. The doctors asked: “Do you have a name for your son?”

Both Kate and David replied: “Yeah, Jamie.” The doctor then sat on the edge of the bed and said: “Jamie didn’t make it; we lost him.”

David collapsed next to Kate, and then Kate grabbed the baby off the doctor. She then unwrapped the baby and told David to get undressed and get into bed with them. Because the baby was so cold, she wanted him to be warm.

Speaking in a new video, Kate said emotionally: “I held him close to my heart, and I moved his head so that he would be able to hear my heart beating”.

“We told him he had a sister named Emily, and that she was breathing okay, and that he had to look out for her.”

Watch while Kate Ogg tells her story:

Kate and David laid there cuddling their lifeless son with tears falling down their faces.

Then something absolutely incredible happened… they realized that Jamie had started to move.

They rang for the midwives. When the midwives returned, Kate said: “Look, he’s breathing and moving.” The midwives responded: “He’s dying, you need to say goodbye.”

Then he opened his eyes, and he grabbed David's finger Image: Screenshot/YouTube

“We never let go of him… and then he opened his eyes, and he grabbed David’s finger. He lived because he had the body heat of his mother and father… that soft; cocooning warmth was what he needed at the time to live.”

Kate admitted: “I hug them too tight sometimes, because I know how close I had to not having them. I’m so lucky.”

This really shows how even under trying times, we should never give up on our children. They are precious and need our care and love. If you were moved by Kate’s story like I was and know someone that may like it, please share it.
