Internment Camps
My dad escaped the internment camps because he lived in Hawaii, built bomb shelters for the military, and wore a black armband. He headed a team of construction men called “The Black Band Boys.” That was his form of protest. My mom escaped the camps because she was raising me. My mother conceived me in November 1941 (just one month before the attack on Pearl Harbor), and I was born in August 1942. Hence, we escaped the detention or internment camps in the States (I call them concentration camps).
One day, a soldier pointed the business end of the barrel of his M-1 rifle at my dad's head and told him, “If you make a wrong move, I’ll blow your brains out.” He had to grin and bear those kinds of humiliation. I will neither bear nor tolerate any of that kind of crap today.
Now, Obama and his corrupt administration want to do the same to me and my children. That will never happen as long as I have a single breath of life left in me.
