The Right Thing? Republican Senator Breaks From Norquist Pledge

Senator Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga) has formally broken with Grover Norquist’s group of folks that have signed a pledge not to raise taxes.
The Senator claims that he cares about his country more than the pledge he made, and that he’s “willing to do the right thing”
Is the right thing raising taxes on those the congress deems “wealthy”, knowing full well that they will not reduce spending one single penny in return, or is it breaking your promise? Also, who will now follow suit now that one person has broken rank.
